This is a passion project. It started with an idea and ultimately a dream. Here at The Market Shoppe we have so much love for our community that it no longer fits within the walls of our store! We are reaching out to lift up our local businesses with love and we want your help!
The Loving Up Local initiative is designed to showcase local shops, eateries and service businesses in our community. In essence, we want to provide a broad spectrum marketing campaign to increase both foot traffic and exposure of fellow businesses.
OUR VISION
We have a big vision for the future of Loving Up Local.
We believe that it is of the highest importance to shop local and support local businesses. By banding together with other local businesses we are able to create a massive impact to help us all.
We would love to expand to have other businesses join our initiative going forward. Supporting and uplifting as many small businesses as possible!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE
How can you lift up local business with us? Take the Loving Up Local brochure/map and make a purchase of any size at as many of the businesses on the map as you can. Each business you support will punch your map with their special hole punch on their space around the map. It’s that easy!
WHEN IS THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE HAPPENING
This is the first year of this initiative. It will run from June 19th to September 5th 2022. We hope to continue this project annually for many years to come. The Launch will be opening day of “The Market Shoppe at Rocklands Market”
Hand in your partially or fully completed map to The Market Shoppe during store hours at the end of the program and receive a Loving Up Local Magnet as a thank you for supporting our local businesses. Local businesses are the heart of our community. Thank you for showing them the love this Summer.
HOW LOVING UP LOCAL SHOPPING EXPERIENCE CAN BENEFIT YOUR BUSINESS
The Loving Up Local Shopping Experience was created to increase foot traffic and sales at your business. Each business participating would have a spot on our brochure map. We will provide each business with a small sign to display in your window, as well as a special punch. This is partnered with the large ad campaign that will drive foot traffic to your business.
